About The Role
We are looking for a
technically strong and result-driven Plant & Procurement Head to lead manufacturing operations along with procurement and supply chain strategy at a growing industrial setup.
This role is ideal for professionals with hands-on expertise in
plastics manufacturing and injection molding, combined with the ability to drive operational efficiency, cost optimization, and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead Injection Molding, Assembly, and Pad Printing operations
- Ensure optimal control over molding parameters, tooling systems, and polymer behavior
- Drive process standardization, reduce variation, and implement preventive maintenance practices
- Maintain high levels of productivity, quality, and operational discipline
Procurement & Supply Chain
- Manage strategic sourcing, vendor development, and negotiations
- Oversee material planning, logistics, and inventory management
- Drive cost reduction and value engineering initiatives
- Strengthen supply chain efficiency and backward integration
Financial & Business Impact
- Monitor plant profitability, cost control, and budgeting
- Support business growth through techno-commercial inputs
- Drive continuous improvement and operational excellence initiatives
Leadership
- Lead cross-functional teams with strong problem-solving and execution capabilities
- Ensure timely delivery of production and business goals
- Build a culture of accountability, quality, and performance
Must-Have Skills
- Strong expertise in: ✔ Injection Molding ✔ Assembly Operations ✔ Pad Printing
- Deep understanding of: ✔ Polymer processing & plastics engineering ✔ Tooling systems and ink technologies
- Proven experience in: ✔ Procurement strategy & vendor management ✔ Supply chain, logistics & material planning ✔ Cost optimization, budgeting & financial control
- Strong techno-commercial acumen and negotiation skills
- Ability to handle both plant operations and procurement functions
Preferred Background
- Experience in automotive components or plastic manufacturing industry
- Exposure to large-scale manufacturing operations
- Candidates from reputed organizations such as Minda Corporation Limited will be preferred
Important Criteria
- Hands-on experience in Injection Molding, Assembly, and Pad Printing is mandatory
- Candidate must be comfortable working on-site in Jamnagar, Gujarat
- Hindi communication is essential for day-to-day operations
