Planning Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Planning Engineer to oversee the scheduling, coordination, and execution of infrastructure development and renovation projects across our school campuses. The ideal candidate will have experience in civil engineering and project planning, with strong exposure to the educational infrastructure sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and manage detailed project schedules using tools like MS Project or Primavera.
• Coordinate with architects, contractors, consultants, and internal stakeholders to align on timelines and deliverables.
• Develop baseline schedules and monitor project progress against planned timelines.
• Identify delays and propose corrective actions to ensure timely project completion.
• Support in resource planning, budgeting, and cost estimation for new school projects or expansions.
• Track materials, labor, and equipment requirements; ensure timely procurement and delivery.
• Generate periodic reports on project progress, risks, and deviations for senior management.
• Assist in quality assurance and adherence to safety norms during construction.
• Maintain documentation for regulatory and internal compliance.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience (3+ years) as a planning engineer in infrastructure, preferably in educational or institutional projects.
• Proficiency in project planning tools (Primavera P6, MS Project, AutoCAD, Excel).
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple school projects across locations.
• Familiarity with local building codes, safety regulations, and school-related infrastructure norms is a plus.
