Planning Engineer (Civil Engineer) at Navi Mumbai - CTC (5.5 lacs)

We are a growing real estate company with total team size of 15+ employees, having operations in Lonavala (luxurious independent villas) and in Navi Mumbai (residential buildings).

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a QS and Planning Engineer based in Vashi, Navi Mumbai. The candidate is required to responsible for the meticulous scheduling, planning, and coordination of project activities to ensure timely and efficient project execution; on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

· Developing and maintaining detailed project schedules using software like MS Project

· Managing resources (contractors, supervisors & materials)

· Tracking project progress against the schedule, identifying potential delays or issues

· Assisting with budgeting and resource allocation decisions

· Ensuring the project adheres to all relevant regulations, standards, & quality requirements

· Effective communication between different project teams, stakeholders, and contractor

· Preparing and presenting project reports and updates to management

· Maintaining accurate records of project plans, schedules, and progress

· Preparing detailed cost estimates for projects, including materials, labour, and equipment

· Monitoring project expenditures throughout the construction phase to identify and address potential overspending

· Identifying opportunities to optimize costs without compromising quality or functionality

· Preparing tender documents, including bills of quantities (BOQ)

· Prepare RA (Running Account) bills, client bills, and subcontractor/vendor bills as per contract terms

· Reconcile client and subcontractor quantities and handle variations/deviation claims

· Identifying potential risks associated with the project, such as cost overruns, delays, and contractual issues

Qualifications

· Bachelor in Engineering

· Real Estate Work Experience of 4 years +

· Good communication skills

· Good team leader

· Solution oriented

· Knowledge of MS Project for planning

· Strong knowledge of AutoCAD, MS Excel

· Good understanding of construction contracts, rate analysis, and project budgeting

Education - Bachelor in Engineering

Experience - 4 years +, Real Estate experience is a MUST

CTC - 5.5 – 6 lac p.a.

Job location - Vashi, Navi Mumbai with 2 weekly visits to Lonavala

Reporting to - Operations Head

Work days: 6 work days (Mon – Sat)
