Job Description
The Planning Engineer is responsible for the following actions
- Development of WBS for all aspects for engineering in a project. Ability to understand sequencing of various engineering services in construction industry including process engineering
- Scheduling and sequencing of the entire project activities/ milestone baseline scheduling
- Monitoring of project activities and tracking the progress milestones
- Quantity take-off from the drawings and cost estimating the works
- Revision of schedules based on delays/decisions taken by the stakeholders, coordination with Project team to understand the actual delays btw the activities forming the particular milestone(s)
Additional knowledge - Experience of hands-on with MS project/Primavera to plan, track and control the project schedules.
Preferred skills: MS Office usage; Proactive coordination on project; Adept handling of issues btw Client/consultant/Contractors.
