Role Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Physical Education Coach to lead and support our girls physical education and sports program. The role involves creating a positive, inclusive, and engaging environment that promotes physical fitness, discipline, and sportsmanship.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver structured PE lessons aligned with Cambridge expectations and school philosophy
- Train and mentor students in a variety of sports and physical activities
- Promote fitness, teamwork, and healthy lifestyle habits among students
- Organize and coordinate inter-house events, sports days, and tournaments
- Ensure student safety and well-being during all physical activities
- Maintain records of student progress and participation
- Collaborate with faculty to integrate physical education into the broader learning experience
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Education (B.P.Ed / M.P.Ed) – mandatory
- Prior experience working in a school setting
- Strong understanding of age-appropriate physical training and student engagement
- Ability to work effectively within a collaborative school environment
Preferred:
- Experience working with girls teams or in a girls-focused program
- Exposure to international curricula (Cambridge or similar)
- Skills in coaching specific sports or fitness disciplines
