Key Responsibilities
You will:
- Dispense prescription and over-the-counter medications accurately.
- Review and interpret prescriptions to ensure correctness and prevent errors.
- Offer caring, personalised guidance to customers on medication usage, dosage, potential side effects, and storage.
- Maintain proper records of prescriptions and inventory in line with regulatory requirements.
- Ensure full compliance with all pharmacy laws, rules, and safety standards.
- Conduct regular stock checks and manage inventory levels, including proactive ordering and replenishment.
- Handle billing, documentation, and insurance-related processing where relevant.
- Build strong collaborative relationships with doctors, healthcare professionals, and suppliers when needed.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organisation, and hygiene within the pharmacy environment.
- Deliver exceptional customer service, addressing customer queries with empathy and professionalism.
Qualifications
- Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm) or Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm).
- Valid Karnataka pharmacist license/registration as per state regulatory standards.
- Experience as required for the role.
