Key Responsibilities

You will:

  • Dispense prescription and over-the-counter medications accurately.
  • Review and interpret prescriptions to ensure correctness and prevent errors.
  • Offer caring, personalised guidance to customers on medication usage, dosage, potential side effects, and storage.
  • Maintain proper records of prescriptions and inventory in line with regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure full compliance with all pharmacy laws, rules, and safety standards.
  • Conduct regular stock checks and manage inventory levels, including proactive ordering and replenishment.
  • Handle billing, documentation, and insurance-related processing where relevant.
  • Build strong collaborative relationships with doctors, healthcare professionals, and suppliers when needed.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organisation, and hygiene within the pharmacy environment.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service, addressing customer queries with empathy and professionalism.

Qualifications

  • Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm) or Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm).
  • Valid Karnataka pharmacist license/registration as per state regulatory standards.
  • Experience as required for the role.

  • Thorough knowledge of medicines and pharmaceutical regulations.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills, focused on patient needs.
