Role Title: Retail Pharmacist (Staff Pharmacist)
About The Opportunity
A community retail healthcare and pharmaceutical services operation serving patients, clinics and local businesses in the Bangalore metro. We provide reliable medicine dispensing, OTC care, and accurate on-site billing at our Whitefield store. We are hiring an on-site pharmacist who combines solid medicines knowledge with hands-on billing and inventory management experience.
Role & Responsibilities
- Accurately dispense prescriptions: verify prescriptions, check dosages and contraindications, and perform drug-interaction and allergy checks before issue.
- Provide patient-facing counselling for prescription and OTC medicines, including dosage instructions, side-effect management and adherence support.
- Handle billing and POS transactions: process cash/ card payments, manage discounts/insurance claims where applicable, and perform end-of-day cash reconciliation.
- Maintain pharmacy inventory: stock rotation, expiry-date checks, reorder planning, and cold-chain handling for temperature-sensitive products.
- Maintain statutory records and ensure regulatory compliance (Pharmacy Act requirements, drug stock registers, and safe storage practices).
- Liaise with suppliers and store staff to ensure timely replenishment, accurate pricing, and a clean, customer-ready dispensary environment.

Qualifications (role Requirements)
- D.Pharm or B.Pharm (eligible candidates only).
- Registered Pharmacist with the relevant State Pharmacy Council (mandatory).
- Minimum 1 year of retail/community pharmacy experience with demonstrated billing and medicines-handling exposure.
- Strong working knowledge of common generic medicines, formulations, and OTC categories used in India.
- Ability to work on-site at Whitefield, Bangalore with flexible shift coverage as needed.
