Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Pharmacist located in Bengaluru. The Pharmacist will be responsible for dispensing medications, counseling patients on the use of prescription and over-the-counter medications, and ensuring the safe and effective use of pharmaceuticals. The Pharmacist will also manage and monitor inventory, prepare and maintain accurate records, and collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care. Additionally, the role involves providing medication therapy management and addressing patients healthcare needs effectively.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in dispensing medications and understanding pharmaceutical interactions and contraindications
- Ability to counsel patients on the use of prescription and over-the-counter medications
- Strong inventory management and record-keeping skills
- Effective communication and collaboration skills with healthcare professionals
- Excellent understanding of medication therapy management
- Relevant degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm or M.Pharm) and valid pharmacist license
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Experience in a healthcare or hospital setting is a plus
