Role Overview
We are looking for a Senior Performance Test Engineer with strong expertise in JMeter and performance analysis to ensure scalability, stability, and high performance of applications in cloud and distributed environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and execute performance test plans and JMeter scripts
- Perform load, stress, endurance, and capacity testing
- Analyse results, identify bottlenecks, and conduct root cause analysis
- Monitor application performance using Grafana, Datadog, or similar APM tools
- Collaborate with development, QA, and stakeholders to drive performance improvements
- Prepare performance test reports and provide actionable insights
- Mentor junior performance testers and support Agile delivery
Required Skills
- 812 years of experience in performance testing
- Strong hands-on expertise in Apache JMeter (Java/Groovy/BeanShell)
- Experience with APM tools (Grafana, Datadog, etc.)
- Good understanding of Web applications and REST APIs
- Exposure to client-side and component-level performance testing
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Experience working in an Agile environment
