Performance Test Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Performance Test Architect with 5-8 years of industry and domain expertise. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with performance testing tools, monitoring tools, automation tools, Java profiling, and technical analysis. This role requires operational exposure to DevOps and CI/CD, strong Java coding and scripting knowledge, and an engineering degree with a solid academic track record.

Key Responsibilities

• Performance Testing: Conduct comprehensive performance testing using industry-standard tools such as LoadRunner, JMeter, and Rational Integration Tester.
• Performance Monitoring & Analysis: Utilize monitoring tools like Splunk, Dynatrace, and Kibana to analyze system performance, identify bottlenecks, and gather actionable insights.
• Automation: Implement automation strategies using Jenkins and other native automation tools. Develop and maintain automation scripts to enhance overall testing efficiency.
• Java Profiling & Technical Analysis: Perform Java profiling to pinpoint and troubleshoot performance bottlenecks within applications. Conduct in-depth technical analysis to ensure the stability and scalability of software solutions.
• DevOps & CI/CD Integration: Collaborate actively with DevOps teams to integrate performance testing seamlessly into CI/CD pipelines, ensuring continuous delivery and deployment of high-quality software.
• Java Coding & Scripting: Write and maintain Java code and scripts to support performance testing and automation efforts.
• Communication & Documentation: Document test plans, test cases, and test results clearly and concisely. Communicate effectively in written and spoken English, presenting performance analysis findings to stakeholders in a clear and understandable manner.

Qualifications

• Education: Engineering degree with a good academic track record.
• Experience:5-8 years of industry and domain expertise specifically in performance testing and analysis.

Technical Skills

• Performance Testing Tools: Proficiency in performance testing tools such as LoadRunner, JMeter, and Rational Integration Tester.
• Monitoring Tools: Hands-on experience with monitoring tools including Splunk, Dynatrace, and Kibana.
• Automation Tools: Experience with automation tools, especially Jenkins and other native automation tools.
• Java Expertise: Expertise in Java profiling and technical analysis. Strong Java coding and scripting knowledge.
