Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Performance Test Engineer specializing in JMeter to join our team in Bangalore/Hyderabad. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in performance testing and be proficient in using JMeter for testing the performance and scalability of software applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and execute performance test plans and test cases using JMeter.
- Conduct performance, load, and stress testing of web applications, APIs, Android, iOS and other software components.
- Analyze test results, identify performance bottlenecks, and provide actionable recommendations.
- Work closely with development and QA teams to identify performance requirements and ensure that they are met.
- Create detailed performance test reports and present findings to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with the DevOps team to integrate performance testing into the CI/CD pipeline.
- Monitor application performance in production environments and troubleshoot performance issues.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in performance testing.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in performance testing.
- Expertise in using JMeter for performance testing.
- Strong understanding of performance testing concepts, including load, stress, and scalability testing.
- Experience with performance monitoring and profiling tools.
- Proficient in scripting and automating performance tests.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with other performance testing tools such as LoadRunner, Gatling, or NeoLoad.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab, or CircleCI.
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
- Understanding of cloud environments and services (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
