Job Title: Performance Marketing Manager
Location: Electronics City, Bangalore
Role Overview
We are looking for a Performance Marketing Manager to lead and scale paid acquisition across our institutes (UG, PG & Master's programs - online & offline). This role goes beyond campaign management - it owns the full funnel from lead generation to enrolment outcomes.
You will be responsible for delivering enrolment targets through Google, Meta, and LinkedIn by driving high-quality leads, optimizing conversion rates, and ensuring strong ROI across spends.
Core Ownership Areas
1. Revenue & Funnel Ownership
- Own enrolment targets driven via performance marketing channels
- Build and maintain a predictable lead pipeline to support sales targets
- Ensure alignment between marketing output and sales conversion capacity
- Track and improve key funnel metrics: Lead → Qualified → Application → Enrolment
Key Responsibilities
1. Media Planning & Forecasting
- Build detailed monthly/quarterly media plans aligned to enrolment targets
- Forecast leads, CPL, and conversions across channels
- Allocate budgets dynamically based on performance and seasonality
- Ensure delivery vs plan with clear variance tracking
2. Campaign & Account Management
- Lead end-to-end execution across Google Ads, Meta Ads, and LinkedIn Ads
- Drive campaign structuring, audience segmentation, and creative strategy
- Continuously optimize for CPL, CAC, and conversion rates
- Scale high-performing campaigns while controlling inefficiencies
3. Tracking, Attribution & Analytics
- Set up and maintain robust tracking systems (pixels, events, offline conversions)
- Build attribution models to understand true channel contribution
- Ensure CRM integration for end-to-end funnel visibility
- Identify drop-offs and recommend corrective actions
4. Lead Quality & Sales Alignment
- Work closely with counselling/sales teams to define lead qualification criteria
- Monitor lead quality and feedback loops to improve targeting
- Ensure qualification rates and application-to-enrolment conversions meet targets
- Align campaign strategy with sales insights and ground realities
5. ROI & Performance Optimization
- Ensure strong ROI across all campaigns with a focus on cost efficiency
- Track CAC vs ROAS (where applicable) and optimize accordingly
- Drive experimentation (A/B testing across creatives, audiences, landing pages)
- Improve funnel efficiency at every stage
6. Reporting & Dashboards
- Build and maintain real-time dashboards for leadership visibility
- Report on daily/weekly/monthly performance across channels and funnel stages
- Present actionable insights, not just data
- Drive data-backed decision-making across marketing and admissions teams
Candidate Profile
Experience
- 5–7+ years in performance marketing with proven experience managing high budgets
- Strong preference for candidates with experience in education/admissions marketing
Core Skills
Performance Marketing Expertise
- Deep hands-on experience with Google Ads, Meta Ads, and LinkedIn Ads
- Strong understanding of funnel-based marketing and lead generation at scale
- Experience in managing multi-program / multi-brand campaigns
Data & Analytical Thinking
- Strong grip on metrics: CPL, CAC, ROAS, conversion rates, attribution models
- Ability to build forecasts and translate targets into media plans
- Experience with analytics tools (Google Analytics, dashboards, CRM systems)
Funnel & Conversion Understanding
- Clear understanding of how lead quality impacts downstream conversion
- Ability to optimize campaigns based on sales feedback and CRM data
- Experience working closely with sales/admissions teams
Execution & Ownership
- High ownership mindset with accountability for outcomes, not just inputs
- Ability to manage multiple campaigns and priorities simultaneously
