Role Objective
The role is focused on driving user acquisition and revenue growth through affiliate channels and strategic alliances. You will be responsible for scaling partnerships, executing performance-driven campaigns, and optimising CAC through innovative distribution strategies, including direct media buying and platform integrations.
Key Responsibilities
Affiliate Marketing
Manage and scale affiliate networks, publishers, and performance partners
Drive CPI/CPA-based campaigns to achieve user acquisition targets
Identify and onboard new affiliate partners to expand reach
Alliances & Partnerships
Build and manage strategic partnerships with platforms like telecom, fintech, and content aggregators
Identify new alliance opportunities across ecosystems (apps, OEMs, aggregators)
Negotiate commercial terms and ensure mutually beneficial outcomes
Media Buying & Direct Placements
Execute direct media buys on platforms such as Jio Hotstar, PhonePe, and similar high-scale channels
Optimise inventory selection, placements, and pricing for maximum ROI
Explore non-traditional acquisition channels via partnerships
Growth & Performance Optimisation
Own CAC, ROI, and overall campaign efficiency across affiliate and alliance channels
Continuously test and scale new acquisition strategies
Drive incremental growth through data-backed decisions
Analytics & Reporting
Track and analyse performance metrics (CPI, CPA, ROAS, conversion rates)
Generate regular performance reports and actionable insights
Work with attribution tools to ensure accurate tracking and optimisation
Cross-functional Collaboration
Work closely with product, marketing, and tech teams for campaign execution
Align partnerships with broader growth and monetisation strategies
Key Metrics / KPIs
Cost per Acquisition (CPA / CPI)
Return on Investment (ROI / ROAS)
Partner-driven installs/revenue contribution
Conversion rates across funnels
Active and scalable affiliate base
Required Skills & Experience
Experience
4–8 years of experience in affiliate marketing, partnerships, or performance marketing
Proven track record in scaling user acquisition campaigns
Experience in entertainment, OTT, gaming, or consumer internet is a plus
Skills
Strong negotiation and partnership management skills
Data-driven mindset with strong analytical abilities
Understanding of performance marketing models (CPI, CPA, CPL)
Experience with attribution and analytics tools (AppsFlyer, Adjust, GA4, etc.)
Tools & Platforms (Preferred)
Affiliate Networks (e.g., CJ, Admitad, Impact)
Attribution Tools (AppsFlyer, Adjust)
Analytics (Google Analytics, Excel; SQL is a plus)
