The Role

The purpose of this role is to ensure the smooth and efficient execution of core HR processes that support the employee lifecycle and organizational compliance. This role acts as a backbone for HR functions, focusing on operational excellence, accuracy, and timely service delivery.

The role is a challenging one and It plays a key role in shaping a seamless employee experience. This position offers the opportunity to work across core HR functions, contribute to process improvements, and support a true performance culture.

Role Responsibilities

In your role you will be responsible for:

  • Employee Correspondence: Craft and deliver accurate employee communications; support smooth transitions; collaborate with leadership on complex cases.
  • Probation, Contract & Process Compliance: Drive timely completion of probation and fixed‑term contract reviews, while ensuring onboarding, offboarding, audits, and payroll readiness adhere to internal HR policies and compliance standards.
  • Employee Support & Inquiry Resolution: Serve as a reliable point of contact for employee queries, resolving or escalating issues with professionalism and empathy.
  • Employee Records & Documentation: Maintain and audit personal files and statutory documentation for accuracy, ensuring discrepancies are identified and resolved proactively.
  • Data Management, Reporting & Insights: Maintain accurate HR data across systems, conduct regular audits, and deliver timely recurring and ad‑hoc reports, dashboards, and insights to support People & Culture decision‑making.
  • Confidential Information & Data Security Governance: Safeguard sensitive employee and organizational information through strict confidentiality practices, secure storage, controlled access, and adherence to data protection requirements.
  • HR Systems & Tools Governance: Oversee daily functioning of HR tools (HRIS, ATS, payroll and engagement platforms), ensuring data consistency, troubleshooting issues, and driving system and process improvements.
  • Cross‑Functional Collaboration & Stakeholder Support: Partner with Finance, IT, and Payroll to ensure smooth data flow and alignment, providing stakeholders with accurate employee metrics, documentation, and operational insights as needed.
  • HR Projects & Continuous Improvement Initiatives: Contribute to HR projects and drive continuous improvement of People Ops processes, systems, and data workflows to enhance operational efficiency.

  • Technical proficiency: Comfortable using HRIS systems, spreadsheets, and digital tools for record-keeping and reporting.
