• You will join a dynamic team focused on building and evolving the Bank's Operational Risk Framework, with a specific emphasis on data architecture.
• This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the design, implementation, and maintenance of robust data structures, ensuring the coherent and integrated management of operational risk information.
• You will work in a collaborative environment, supporting the development of a comprehensive data landscape that underpins policy, capabilities, business processes, controls, metrics, reporting, and analytics, working closely with various teams to establish foundational data architecture components.

Your key responsibilities

• Contribute to the delivery of the Operational Risk Framework, specifically supporting Data Architecture initiatives.
• Support the preparation for the RCSA Data & Methodology Forum.
• Support the establishment of data standards, lineage and governance for Operational Risk information.
• Contribute to the development and evolution of the Operational Risk data model, ensuring alignment with overall framework components.
• Contribute to Data Quality Governance activities.
• Support the delivery of management information, dashboards, and analytics, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Support the documentation of end-to-end process architectures, covering elements like RCSA, incidents, and issues, along with control points and evidence requirements.
• Support efforts to ensure traceability across ORM capability, process, control, data, and reporting.
• Collaborate with technology teams on data architecture and non-functional requirements to support ORM processes.

Your skills and experience

• Foundational understanding of Operational Risk Management principles and practices.
• Some experience working with data or business domains, assisting in translating business needs into structured designs.
• Ability to operate in structured environments with competing priorities.
• Developing analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
• Good knowledge in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Familiarity with data management or modelling tools (e.g., Python, SQL) is a plus.
• Willingness to learn and acquire deep subject-matter / technical expertise relevant to data architecture.
• Ability to prepare and document discussions and build relationships with multiple stakeholders.
