The Indic Belt Society, founded in 2018 through scholarly engagement at Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), New Delhi, focuses on exploring the shared cultural, intellectual, and regional connections between India and Southeast Asia. The Society promotes academic research and dialogue across disciplines and publishes the International Journal of Indic Knowledge Systems, a peer-reviewed platform for scholarly contributions.

Role Description

This is a voluntary, remote academic role for a Peer Reviewer with expertise in scholarly research and publication.

The Peer Reviewer will evaluate submissions to the International Journal of Indic Knowledge Systems, assessing academic quality, originality, and relevance to the journal's scope. Responsibilities include providing constructive feedback to authors, supporting the editorial process, and upholding ethical standards of academic publishing.

Review assignments will be shared based on the reviewer's area of expertise, with flexible engagement.

Qualifications
  • At least one publication in a Scopus-indexed journal
  • Strong academic background in any discipline
  • Familiarity with academic writing, research methodologies, and publication standards
  • Ability to provide objective, analytical, and constructive feedback
  • Prior peer review experience is desirable but not mandatory
