Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Senior PD Merchandiser with 45 years of hands-on experience in the fashion/apparel industry. The candidate will be responsible for managing the end-to-end product development lifecycle, ensuring timely execution, and coordinating effectively with internal teams and external vendors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle end-to-end product development for apparel collections from concept to final approval.
- Coordinate closely with design, sampling, sourcing, and production teams.
- Create, review, and manage tech packs, BOMs, and costing sheets.
- Ensure timely sample development, accuracy, and quality checks.
- Source fabrics, trims, and accessories as per design and costing requirements.
- Communicate with vendors/suppliers for updates, negotiations, and follow-ups.
- Track timelines and ensure smooth workflow across all PD stages.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis for product insights.
- Prepare range presentations, line sheets, and documentation.
- Support process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce lead times.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Fashion, Apparel Merchandising, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of experience in PD Merchandising (Fashion/Apparel industry).
- Strong knowledge of fabrics, trims, and garment construction.
- Good communication, coordination, and vendor management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Ability to multitask and manage deadlines effectively.
