Role Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Payroll Specialist to take ownership of our end-to-end payroll processing, statutory adherence, and client/vendor invoicing. The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of hands-on experience managing complex payroll cycles and ensuring 100% compliance with local and national labor laws. You will be the go-to expert for financial accuracy in employee compensation and billing.
Key Responsibilities
1. End-to-End Payroll Management
Execute full-cycle payroll processing (monthly/bi-weekly) .
Manage attendance regularizations, leave encashments, bonuses, and overtime calculations.
Ensure accurate disbursement of salaries, including F&F (Full & Final) settlements for exiting employees.
Maintain and update the payroll database with high integrity.
2. Statutory Compliance & Taxation
Ensure strict adherence to statutory requirements such as PF, ESI, PT, and LWF.
Manage Tax Deducted at Source (TDS) calculations and ensure timely filing of quarterly returns.
Handle the preparation and submission of annual returns and coordinate with government portals.
Stay updated on changes in labor laws and tax codes to ensure the company remains compliant.
3. Invoicing & Reconciliation
Generate accurate monthly invoices for clients/vendors based on payroll data and contractual terms.
Reconcile payroll reports against bank statements and general ledger entries.
Liaise with the accounts department to track accounts receivable related to payroll billing.
Candidate Profile
Experience - Minimum 4 years in a dedicated Payroll & Compliance role.
Education - Bachelor's degree in Commerce, or HR.
Software - Advanced proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and Payroll software (e.g., ADP, Saral, Zoho Payroll, or Tally).
