About the Role
We are seeking a seasoned Manager -Global Payroll to manage end-to-end payroll operations across multiple geographies, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in US and Canada payroll processing, with exposure to Australia payroll being a strong plus.
You will work closely with HR, and external vendors to drive seamless payroll execution while maintaining compliance with local statutory and tax regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end payroll processing for multiple countries (US, Canada, and Australia).
- Ensure compliance with local statutory requirements, tax regulations, and internal policies.
- Coordinate with internal teams (Finance, HR) and external partners/vendors for payroll inputs, validations, and reconciliations.
- Accounting of payroll in Books of Accounts.
- Perform payroll reconciliations and variance analysis to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Prepare and maintain payroll reports, employee cost summaries, and audit schedules.
- Handle employee queries related to payroll, deductions, and taxation in a timely and professional manner.
- Support annual audits and filings related to payroll and compliance.
- Drive process improvements and automation
- Partner effectively with global stakeholders and communicate clearly across time zones.
Required Skills & Experience
- 57 years of experience in payroll management, mandatorily in IT / ITES / technology services organizations.
- Mandatory: Hands-on experience in US and Canada payroll processing and Accounting.
- Preferred: Exposure to Australia payroll and related compliance.
- Strong working knowledge of Excel
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage global stakeholders and vendors.
- Detail-oriented, analytical mindset with a focus on accuracy and timeliness.
- Familiarity with global payroll platforms (e.g., ADP, Ceridian, MYOB, etc.) is an advantage.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple country payrolls concurrently.
