Job OverviewPodar Education Network is seeking a dynamic Mid-Level Payroll Executive to join our team in Parel, Mumbai. This is a full-time position requiring a minimum of 4 to a maximum of 6 years of work experience. The role is critical in handling various payroll-related functions with efficiency and compliance, ensuring the smooth operation of payroll processes across our extended network of schools.

• Qualifications and SkillsExperience with payroll processing and the ability to handle end-to-end payroll functions efficiently and accurately is required.
• Proficiency in using payroll software is mandatory, ensuring all operations align with legal and organizational standards.
• Strong knowledge of labor laws and regulatory compliance related to payroll processes is a mandatory skill.
• Familiarity with time and attendance systems to track employee hours accurately and assist in payroll calculations.
• Previous experience in providing audit support, ensuring all documentation is complete and accurate for audit purposes.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills for data analysis, payroll reporting, and maintaining accurate records is essential.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills to manage multiple responsibilities and maintain accuracy in payroll operations.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle confidential information with integrity and discretion.

• Roles and ResponsibilitiesProcess and manage payroll for all employees across the Podar Education Network, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
• Utilize payroll software to prepare salary statements and generate payroll reports as needed.
• Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements pertaining to payroll, tax, and other statutory dues.
• Assist in auditing procedures by preparing relevant payroll reports and maintaining comprehensive records.
• Coordinate with the HR department to resolve any payroll-related discrepancies and issues promptly.
• Maintain confidentiality of employee payroll data and handle sensitive information with the utmost discretion.
• Prepare and submit payroll documentation to relevant governmental bodies as required.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of payroll operations.
