Role Overview
You will work directly with the founder and core team to:
- Identify, evaluate, and build patentable assets
- Create a long-term IP strategy for Kefilo
- Ensure we are not just building — but owning what we build
Key Responsibilities- Patent Identification & Strategy
- Evaluate Kefilo's offerings (programs, systems, tech, processes)
- Identify patentable opportunities across:
- Wellness frameworks
- Data-driven systems
- Product/process innovations
- Build a clear IP roadmap
- Documentation & Filing Support
- Draft patent disclosures and documentation
- Work with external patent attorneys (if required)
- Support filing process (India + potential international)
- Research & Validation
- Conduct prior art research
- Ensure novelty and applicability
- Benchmark against global wellness/healthtech innovations
- IP Structuring with Business
- Align patents with:
- Business model
- Product roadmap
- Future scalability
- Ensure IP contributes to long-term valuation
Who Should Apply
- Background in IP Law / Patent Filing / Technical Research / HealthTech / Biotech / Engineering
- Strong understanding of patentability (novelty, non-obviousness, utility)
- Ability to think strategically, not just legally
- Interest in wellness, healthtech, or system-based innovation
- Comfortable working in an early-stage, unstructured startup
