Role Overview
We are looking for a highly curious and innovation-driven Patent & Innovation Officer who can help identify, structure, protect, and scale innovative ideas, systems, products, and processes across the organization.
The role involves working closely with the founder and cross-functional teams to drive research, innovation mapping, intellectual property planning, documentation, and future-focused solution development in healthcare and wellness domains.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify innovative opportunities across wellness, healthcare, technology, operations, and user engagement systems.
- Conduct research on existing patents, innovations, competitors, and market gaps.
- Support patent documentation, drafting coordination, innovation filing processes, and IP strategy development.
- Work with product, technology, healthcare, and operations teams to structure scalable and protectable innovations.
- Build internal innovation frameworks and documentation systems.
- Analyze emerging trends in preventive healthcare, AI, wellness technology, IoT, behavioral analytics, and digital health ecosystems.
- Contribute to future product concepts, proprietary systems, and differentiators for HiWox.
- Maintain innovation records, idea pipelines, and research repositories.
Requirements
- Background in Healthcare, Biotechnology, Engineering, Innovation Management, Research, Law, Technology, or related domains.
- Strong research and analytical thinking ability.
- Understanding of patents, intellectual property, innovation systems, or research documentation is preferred.
- Ability to work in a startup environment with ownership and experimentation mindset.
- Strong communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
- Interest in future-focused healthcare and wellness innovation ecosystems.
