This is a fully remote role. You will work with a distributed team across Italy and India.
The opportunity
You will be a first-touch sales and partnership developer responsible for identifying and recruiting high-potential recruitment partners for ApplyAZ. Your focus is relationship building, personal alignment and a smooth handoff into onboarding. This role is key to our growth by signing new, quality partners into the ApplyAZ network.
What you will be doing every day
- Brand representation: Act as an ambassador for ApplyAZ, clearly explaining how our platform helps students study in Italy with 0 euro tuition and access to DSU scholarships up to 8,000 per year.
- Sales contribution: Work as a high-performing individual contributor focused on increasing the number of recruitment partner sign-ups on the ApplyAZ platform.
- Proactive outreach: Use cold calls, email, WhatsApp and LinkedIn to contact potential agencies and independent agents.
- Market research: Build and maintain targeted lists of local international student agents and agencies in your region.
- Needs assessment: Ask the right questions to understand each partner's current process, pain points and goals, then position ApplyAZ as the right solution.
- Relationship building: Build trust-based relationships with agency owners and counselors so they see ApplyAZ as a long-term partner, not just another platform.
- New business development: Continuously look for new cities, communities and networks where ApplyAZ can add value.
- Meeting coordination: Book and run intro calls or short demos to walk partners through the sign-up and first student submission on the ApplyAZ platform.
- Pipeline ownership: Keep your CRM records clean and up to date, and provide regular activity, lead and pipeline updates to your Manager, with clear next steps on each account.
What you bring to the table
- 2 to 5 year of experience in business development or sales. Experience in a hunting environment or in education services is an advantage, not a requirement.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain ApplyAZ's value in a clear, simple and persuasive way over phone, video and written channels.
- Competitive and goal-oriented mindset. You like targets, you like to win and you treat every day as a fresh opportunity.
- Strong interpersonal skills. You are comfortable talking to agency owners, counselors and students from different backgrounds.
- Openness to feedback and coaching, with a real desire to improve every month.
- Resilience and a positive attitude when you face objections or slow periods in the pipeline.
- Professional and assertive presence on phone, WhatsApp and video calls.
- High level of organization. You can manage many small tasks, follow ups and conversations without losing track.
- Ability to think on your feet and stay calm in a fast-moving environment.
- Comfort working in a fully remote setup, with strong self-management and written communication.
- Familiarity with any CRM is helpful. Experience with Salesforce is a plus, but not mandatory.
