We are looking for a detail-oriented Painter (Aerospace/Automotive Part Painter preferred) is responsible for preparing, painting, and finishing composite components (such as fiberglass or carbon fibre parts) to meet quality and aesthetic standards. The role involves surface preparation, coating application, and inspection to ensure durability, precision, and compliance with specifications.
Key Responsibilities-
- Prepare composite surfaces by sanding, cleaning, masking, and priming.
- Apply paints, coatings, and finishes using spray guns or other equipment.
- Mix paints and chemicals according to specifications and ratios.
- Inspect surfaces before and after painting to ensure quality standards.
- Repair minor surface defects such as scratches, pinholes, or uneven textures.
- Maintain proper thickness and uniformity of coatings.
- Follow technical drawings, work instructions, and safety guidelines.
- Operate and maintain painting equipment and tools.
- Ensure proper curing of painted parts (oven or air-dry processes).
- Maintain cleanliness of work area and comply with environmental regulations.
- Document work completed and report any defects or issues.
Preferred Qualification
- ITI/Diploma in Mechanical, Aerospace, or related field.
- 1-5 years of experience in Spray Painting Process in Automotive/Aerospace Industry
- Experience in automotive, aerospace, or manufacturing industries.
- Knowledge of advanced coating techniques (gel coat, polyurethane, epoxy paints)
