Description

IN Performance marketing team at Amazon India is seeking a talented, highly motivated and seasoned performance marketer with own and scale Push Notifications and WhatsApp channels for Amazon Prime business. This role requires strong ownership of campaign execution, a sharp focus on metrics, and the ability to drive high-impact experiments to improve customer engagement and conversion across lifecycle stages.
The ideal candidate will combine operational rigor with data-driven decision making to build scalable channel interventions that deliver measurable business outcomes.

Key job responsibilities
1. Own Channel Execution: Drive end-to-end ownership of Push and WhatsApp channel campaigns for Prime business
2. Campaign Operations Excellence: (a) Execute high-quality, defect-free campaigns at scale with strict adherence to timelines, (b) Build and standardize SOPs to improve execution efficiency and reduce operational errors
3. Experimentation & Growth: (a) Design and run structured experiments (A/B tests) across targeting, creatives, frequency, and timing, (b) Continuously raise the bar on experiment velocity and channel contribution to Prime team goals
4. Audience Strategy & Targeting: (a) Define and evolve audience cohorts (e.g., new users, consideration stage, lapsers, active Prime members), (b) Partner with analytics to enable data-backed targeting and personalization
5. Measurement & Insights: (a) Establish clear measurement frameworks to evaluate channel and campaign impact, (b) Track and report performance, generate insights, and translate them into actionable improvements
6. Cross-functional Leadership: (a) Work closely with Product, Tech, Analytics, and Creative teams to unblock execution and drive roadmap alignment , (b) Influence stakeholders to prioritize high-impact channel interventions

About the team
The Amazon India Performance marketing team is responsible for overseeing the business and product charter for our key traffic driving channels. On the business front, we own the management of the channel's contribution to site revenue, customer growth (acquisition, settlement and reactivation) which we achieve by driving traffic through personalized (Push, Email, WhatsApp), automated channels (Google, Meta) and Associates network on a daily basis. Even at this scale, we deliver simple and intuitive experiences to customers owing to complex automation capabilities and sophisticated marketing products.

Basic Qualifications

- 3+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
- 2+ years of designing, building, and launching successful email engagement programs, specifically lifecycle/nurture programs experience
- Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in e-commerce, start ups, advertising, commercial
- Experience using data visualization tools
- Experience that includes strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities
- . 2-4 years of experience in performance marketing, lifecycle/CRM marketing, or growth roles
- . Demonstrated experience in managing large-scale campaigns across Push and/or WhatsApp
- . Experience working with marketing automation platforms (e.g., Clevertap, MoEngage, WebEngage)
