Oracle SCM with EBS (Functional) Consultant

We are seeking an experienced Oracle SCM with EBS (Functional) Consultant with 10-15 years of experience to join our team in Chennai or Hyderabad/Secunderabad. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Oracle EBS Supply Chain Management modules and a proven track record of successfully implementing and supporting these solutions in a client-facing role. You will work closely with clients to understand their business needs, configure Oracle EBS to meet those needs, and provide ongoing support to ensure optimal performance of the SCM systems.

Responsibilities

• Engage with clients to gather requirements and understand their business processes related to Supply Chain Management (SCM) using Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS).
• Configure and customize Oracle SCM modules to meet client needs, ensuring best practices are followed.
• Provide functional expertise in Oracle EBS SCM modules including Inventory, Purchasing, Order Management, and Supply Chain Planning.
• Conduct gap analysis and provide solutions to bridge identified gaps in SCM processes.
• Prepare functional specifications for custom developments and enhancements.
• Support testing phases including unit testing, system integration testing, and user acceptance testing.
• Train end-users and provide ongoing support post-implementation to ensure smooth operation of the SCM system.
• Collaborate with technical teams to ensure successful integration of SCM modules with other Oracle EBS modules and third-party applications.
• Stay updated with the latest Oracle EBS SCM features and functionalities, and recommend improvements to clients.

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 10-15 years of experience in Oracle SCM functional consulting, specifically with Oracle EBS.
• In-depth knowledge of Oracle EBS SCM modules such as Inventory, Purchasing, Order Management, and Supply Chain Planning.

• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Oracle EBS SCM modules.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
• Experience in project management and delivering projects on time and within budget.
• Oracle certifications in EBS SCM modules would be an advantage.
