Role Overview/Job Responsibilities:

Overview

We are looking for an experienced Oracle Applications Developer with strong expertise in Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) and system integrations. The ideal candidate will work on designing, developing, and supporting Oracle-based solutions involving EDI transactions, trading partner integrations, and automated data workflows.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and support Oracle Applications (EBS or Cloud) customizations and integrations.
• Implement, manage, and troubleshoot EDI transactions such as 850, 810, 856, 997, and others.
• Work with EDI standards including X12 and/or EDIFACT for data exchange.
• Map EDI documents to Oracle inbound/outbound interfaces and APIs.
• Build and maintain SQL, PL/SQL programs, Oracle Forms/Reports (if applicable), and interface code.
• Collaborate with functional/business teams to convert requirements into technical deliverables.
• Work with middleware and integration tools (Oracle SOA Suite, Boomi, MuleSoft, Sterling Integrator, etc.).
• Troubleshoot integration issues ensuring accuracy, performance, and seamless data flow.

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience as an Oracle Apps Technical Developer.
• Deep knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL, APIs, Web Services (REST/SOAP), and interfaces.
• Experience with EDI X12/EDIFACT standards and common transaction sets.
• Strong understanding of Oracle modules and business cycles such as Order-to-Cash (O2C) or Procure-to-Pay (P2P).
• Ability to debug complex technical issues and resolve integration failures efficiently.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Oracle Cloud ERP integrations (FBDI, BI Publisher, REST APIs).
• Familiarity with B2B gateway solutions and onboarding processes.
• Knowledge of XML, Flat Files, JSON, and other integration formats.
• Ability to create and maintain technical specifications and mapping documents.

• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
