Role Title : Oracle DBA

Location : Chennai / Coimbatore / Pune / Bangalore

We are seeking a skilled Oracle DBA with 46 years of hands-on experience to manage, optimize, and secure enterprise-grade Oracle databases across production and non-production environments. You will ensure high availability, performance, and data integrity for applications supporting industries such as Healthcare, Financial Services, BFSI, and Retail.

Install, configure, and maintain Oracle databases in production and lower environments.

Implement and manage backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies using RMAN.

Monitor and optimize database performance through SQL tuning and parameter optimization.

Ensure secure access by managing roles, privileges, and database security policies.

Plan and execute patching, upgrades, and migrations with minimal downtime.

Collaborate with application and engineering teams to troubleshoot and resolve complex database issues.

Support and optimize Oracle RAC, Data Guard, and high-availability configurations.

Partner with cloud teams to support deployments on OCI, AWS, and Azure.

Required Skill

46 years of Oracle DBA experience in production environments.

Strong expertise in administration, architecture, and performance tuning.

Hands-on experience with RMAN, Data Guard, and DR planning.

Working knowledge of Oracle RAC and high-availability configurations.

Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL.

Familiarity with Unix/Linux environments.

Nice to have: Oracle certifications and cloud platform experience (OCI / AWS / Azure).

Experience in Healthcare preferred; BFSI/Retail domains are a plus.

Strong communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
