Job Description

Position: OPT Recruiter

Location: Madhapur, Hyderabad

Description:

This role focuses on talent sourcing, candidate engagement, immigration awareness, and smooth onboarding, ensuring consultants are well-prepared to transition into projects.

We are not looking for Technical Recruiter or Bench Sales profiles- Pls do not apply.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle for OPT, H1B, and senior consultants: sourcing, screening, evaluation, and onboarding.
  • get the candidates into our bench
  • Source OPT/CPT candidates from job portals (Dice, Monster, CareerBuilder), LinkedIn, universities, and training institutes.
  • Build and maintain a diverse pipeline of candidates, including OPT, CPT, H1B, GC, and US Citizens.
  • Onboard senior IT consultants onto the bench, ensuring documentation, compliance, and smooth integration into the team.
  • Collaborate with universities, training vendors, and referral networks to attract fresh OPT talent.
  • Educate candidates about visa processes, immigration requirements, and career growth opportunities.
  • Conduct detailed resume screenings and pre-interviews to evaluate technical and cultural fit.
  • Maintain accurate candidate records in ATS/CRM systems and prepare recruitment status reports.
  • Coordinate with the reporting manager to understand current bench requirements and align sourcing strategies.
  • Ensure all candidate documentation is compliant with US hiring and immigration regulations.
  • Provide ongoing relationship management and career guidance to onboarded consultants.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 2–5 years of hands-on experience in US IT recruitment.
  • Strong knowledge of US immigration policies, work authorizations, and hiring processes.
  • Proficiency in sourcing via Dice, Monster, CareerBuilder, LinkedIn Recruiter, and university networks.
  • Experience in onboarding both entry-level OPT candidates and senior consultants on the bench.
  • Familiarity with US tax terms (W2, C2C, 1099).
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a target-driven environment.
