Job Description

Join Us as Operations Officer!

Operations officer will be responsible for the carrying out all broker operations. Timely & promptly attending all owners and charterers email correspondences and record-keeping.

Responsible for handling laytime calculations and closely coordinating with the client.

TASK AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Timely & Promptly Liaising with Chartering, Owners and Charterers.
  • Checking and preparing the LOI as required.
  • Verifying contents of Bills of Lading.
  • Follow-ups with owners/charterers on daily basis
  • Admin Tasks for the Broking Ops Team
  • Upkeep of IMOS
  • Timely and prompt calculations of the Laytime for vessel voyages.
  • Clear understanding of the laytime terms.

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • (1 – 3) years of Broking Operations handling experience
  • Dry bulk background is preferred

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

  • Basic understanding of the Charter Party clauses.
  • Working experience in MS Excel is must.
  • IMOS experience is preferred.
