Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee and manage cargo movement operations efficiently. The ideal candidate should have strong operational knowledge, coordination skills, and hands-on experience in logistics and cargo handling.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end cargo movement operations
- Coordinate with transporters, vendors, and warehouse teams
- Ensure timely dispatch and delivery of shipments
- Monitor shipment tracking and resolve operational issues
- Optimize logistics processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs
- Maintain proper documentation and compliance related to cargo movement
- Prepare operational reports and MIS
- Handle client coordination and ensure service quality
- Ensure adherence to safety and regulatory guidelines
Requirements:
- MBA (Preferred)
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in cargo/logistics operations
- Strong knowledge of transportation and supply chain processes
- Excellent coordination and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple shipments and timelines
- Good communication and team management abilities
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in freight forwarding, warehousing, or supply chain operations
- Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP/logistics software
