Role Overview
The Operations Manager will be responsible for driving operational planning, governance, process improvements, and people operations to support effective business delivery. This role requires strong analytical ability, structured execution, and the capability to work closely with leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure seamless, compliant, and efficient operations.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Planning & Governance
- Lead annual and periodic planning cycles, including budgeting, portfolio management, fee monitoring, and profitability insights.
- Drive initiatives across cost management, operating leverage, client/partner rotation, and resource allocation to support strategic priorities.
- Prepare leadership updates, business review materials, and operational reports.
Process Improvement & Automation
- Streamline and automate processes across budgeting, reporting, and ERP workflows to enhance speed, accuracy, and visibility.
- Develop and maintain dashboards (Power BI) for performance tracking, fee recovery analytics, and operational decision-making.
- Implement governance trackers to monitor workloads, utilization, and portfolio movements.
Quality, Controls & Compliance
- Lead operational control effectiveness testing and support readiness reviews for regulatory and global quality standards.
- Strengthen operational frameworks by embedding learnings, improving documentation, and ensuring remediation of findings.
- Collaborate with Quality & Risk teams to enhance monitoring mechanisms and reporting discipline.
People & Capacity Management
- Support manpower planning, budgeting, role rationalization, and capacity alignment to business needs.
- Track productivity and utilization metrics and provide insights to leadership for workload balancing.
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to building a high-performance operations team.
Skills & Qualifications
- Graduate/Postgraduate in Business, Finance, Operations, or related discipline.
- 612 years of experience in business operations or professional services.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and process improvement skills.
- Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, and ERP systems.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and documentation skills.
- Experience with quality or regulatory frameworks (preferred).
