About Asan

Asan was founded on the belief that quality period care should be accessible to everyone, regardless of income or background. Since our launch in 2021, we have reached 200,000+ women through product sales and social impact programmes globally. As we add new products and scale internationally, our operations have grown significantly across Asia, Africa and Europe.

Job Description

We're looking for an organised, proactive Operations Manager to oversee our day-to-day logistics across both sales channels and social impact programmes. You'll manage supply chain, inventory, procurement, and vendor relationships, and play a key role in building the operational systems and processes that will support Asan's next stage of growth.

The ideal candidate will have a good grasp of supply-chain and logistics processes, strong negotiation and relationship management skills, and excellent problem-solving abilities. If you are someone who gets excited about finding smarter ways to do things and can spot inefficiencies a mile away, we'd love to hear from you.

What we need from you

Day-to-Day Operations

  • Oversee end-to-end operations, including supply chain, logistics, inventory, procurement, and vendor management, ensuring everything runs reliably.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for manufacturers, shipping partners, and suppliers.

Auditing and Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with all duty tax and customs requirements across international borders.
  • Efficiently execute annual audits for Asan's medical device certifications.
  • Ensure all operational activities comply with relevant legal and regulatory requirements.

Process Improvement

  • Identify inefficiencies and implement faster, more cost-effective processes.
  • Introduce tools and software to automate and simplify operations. We do not currently use a formal ERP, and evaluating and implementing one may be part of this role.

Financial Oversight and Accounting

  • Manage operational budgets and work closely with the finance function on monthly cost tracking and reporting.
  • Monitor and report on key operational metrics (costs, quality, fulfilment performance) on a regular basis.
  • Complete monthly accounting tasks across India and UK, including drafting and maintaining invoices.

Requirements

Go-getter attitude: You're curious, eager to learn, and happy to take on a variety of tasks.

Multitasking pro: You can juggle multiple tasks without dropping the ball – and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Relevant experience: You've got 3+ years in operations, supply chain or logistics, and a degree in Business, Operations Management, or a related field.

People person: You'll be working closely with manufacturers, shipping partners and suppliers – so strong communication and negotiation skills are key.

Tech-savvy: You're comfortable using tools like Excel, Google Workspace, inventory systems, and ERP platforms to keep things running smoothly.

Languages: Fluency in English is a must. Kannada is a bonus!

Problem solver: You're proactive, solutions-focused, and love figuring out better ways to do things.

Most importantly, you care deeply about Asan's mission and want to help us drive real change.

What we can offer you

Purpose-driven work: Join a mission-led startup that's working to end period poverty and create real impact for women and girls around the world.

Room to lead: You'll have the freedom to take ownership, make decisions, and drive partnerships from start to finish.

Grow with us: We're a fast-growing startup, so you'll get hands-on experience and the chance to build valuable connections across industries.

Supportive team: Work alongside a fun, passionate team that values collaboration, creativity and continuous learning.

Fair pay: We offer a competitive salary, with lots of room to grow based on your performance.

Wellness Benefits: At Asan, we deeply value team wellbeing. That's why we offer a monthly wellness allowance, and opportunities to up-skill.
