Job Title: Operations & Client Servicing Executive (Investment Operations)Job SummaryWe are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Operations & Client Servicing Executive to join our financial services firm. The ideal candidate should have 2–3 years of relevant experience and a strong understanding of mutual fund operations, transaction processing, and client relationship management.
This role focuses on executing transactions, managing client onboarding, maintaining accurate investment records, resolving discrepancies, and ensuring seamless client servicing. The candidate will work closely with the sales team to implement investment strategies and ensure efficient operational support.
Key Responsibilities1. Transaction Processing & Platform Management- Execute and monitor transactions across platforms such as BSE, NSE, CAMS, and KFintech
- Process purchases, redemptions, switches, and SIP transactions accurately
- Track transaction status and ensure timely completion
- Verify all transactions and ensure error-free execution
2. Client Onboarding & Documentation- Complete end-to-end onboarding formalities for:
- Individual clients
- Corporate clients
- NRI / NRE / NRO / BNRI clients
- Ensure all KYC and regulatory requirements are fulfilled
- Maintain proper documentation and onboarding records
3. Client Servicing & Query Resolution- Handle client service requests efficiently and within defined timelines
- Address and resolve client queries related to transactions, portfolios, and processes
- Coordinate with fund houses, RTAs, and other financial institutions for issue resolution
4. Investment Records & Data Management- Maintain accurate and updated client investment records
- Record all transactions systematically in internal systems
- Ensure complete and up-to-date documentation of client portfolios
5. Reconciliation & Exception Handling- Review and verify all transactions for accuracy
- Identify and reconcile rejected or failed transactions
- Coordinate with platforms (BSE, NSE, CAMS, KFintech) to resolve discrepancies
- Ensure records are aligned across systems and updated regularly
6. Reporting & Portfolio Support- Share regular portfolio reports and updates with clients
- Generate reports for internal review and client communication
- Assist in portfolio analysis and provide operational support for implementing changes
7. Coordination with Sales Team- Work closely with the sales team to execute investment strategies
- Implement financial plans as advised by the sales team
- Provide operational support for new investment opportunities
Skills & Qualifications- 2–3 years of experience in financial services, preferably in mutual fund operations or client servicing
- Strong knowledge of mutual fund processes, transaction lifecycle, and platforms
- Experience in transaction processing, reconciliation, and record management
- Familiarity with BSE Star, NSE NMF, CAMS, and KFintech systems
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in MS Excel and CRM/operational tools
