Job Description

Job Responsibilities

  • Conduct food safety audits at AWL warehouses at least once a month or as required, and at AWL distributors when needed, following ISO 22000, FSSAI Schedule 4, and other relevant standards.
  • Develop, update, and maintain documentation such as SOPs, manuals, policies, and procedures related to food safety.
  • Provide training on food safety protocols to AWL depot staff and the sales team.
  • Monitor and verify activities to ensure proper handling of AWL food products in line with food safety standards.
  • Authorize and issue clearance or rejection certificates for warehouse selection as per FSSAI Schedule 4 norms.
  • Conduct transporter audits based on FSSAI food vehicle selection standards.
  • Serve as the lead contact for product recall communication and regulatory inspections.
  • Assign microbial specification guidelines for all AWL food products.
