Job Description

Company Description Hannah's Speech Therapeutic Centre was established in 2016 as an interdisciplinary rehabilitation practice with a strong vision of inclusion. The centre brings together Speech Language Pathologists, Audiologists, Auditory Verbal Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Psychologists, Behavioral Therapists, and Special Educators under one roof. This collaborative environment allows for holistic care tailored to the needs of each individual and family. Professionals at the centre work closely as a team to support developmental, communication, and functional outcomes for clients across age groups.

Role Description The Occupational Therapist will provide assessment and intervention to support clients in developing functional skills for daily living, education, and play. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting evaluations, designing individualized treatment plans, and delivering evidence-based therapy sessions, primarily for children and adolescents. The role involves close collaboration with other members of the interdisciplinary team, documenting progress, communicating with caregivers, and participating in case discussions and review meetings. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru, requiring consistent presence at the centre and occasional community or school visits as needed.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess strong skills in Occupational Therapy and Rehabilitation, including assessment, intervention planning, and goal-based therapy.
  • Candidates should possess foundational knowledge in Medicine and related health sciences to understand diagnoses and multidisciplinary treatment approaches.
  • Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills for working with clients, families, and colleagues, including clear documentation and caregiver education.
  • Candidates should possess experience or interest in Pediatrics, particularly in supporting children with developmental, sensory, or learning challenges.
  • Recognized degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution; relevant registration or licensure as required by local regulations.
  • Experience in pediatric or neurodevelopmental rehabilitation settings is an advantage.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team and maintain a client-centered, inclusive approach.
  • Strong organizational skills, professional ethics, and willingness to participate in continuous learning and training.
