Job Description

Company Description Cornerstone Therapy Solutions is a pediatric therapy center specializing in supporting children with developmental challenges across a range of skill levels. Since 2014, the team has focused on collaborative care, working closely with occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, school teachers, and physicians to achieve meaningful outcomes for children and their caregivers. The organization emphasizes high standards of practice, with professionals trained and certified in India and internationally. Cornerstone Therapy Solutions offers a wide variety of services, including speech and language therapy, occupational therapy, group therapies, social skills groups, early intervention, sensory integration, play therapy, NDT, and parent training programs.

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Occupational Therapist role based in Bengaluru. The Occupational Therapist will assess pediatric clients developmental, sensory, and functional needs, and design individualized treatment plans to support participation in daily activities. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting therapy sessions, documenting progress, and adjusting interventions to meet each child's goals. The role involves close collaboration with other therapists, school professionals, physicians, and caregivers, as well as participation in group programs, parent training, and interdisciplinary case discussions. The Occupational Therapist will also contribute to maintaining evidence-based practices and ensuring a safe, supportive, and engaging therapeutic environment for children.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated expertise in Occupational Therapy, with experience in pediatric settings and functional skill development.
  • Knowledge of basic Medicine and Rehabilitation principles relevant to pediatric therapy and multidisciplinary care.
  • Strong Communication skills to collaborate effectively with families, children, and cross-functional professional teams.
  • Specific experience in Pediatrics, including assessment and intervention for developmental, sensory, and behavioral needs.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution; appropriate licensure/registration as required.
  • Ability to develop individualized treatment plans, set measurable goals, and maintain accurate clinical documentation.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced clinical environment and participating in group therapy and parent training programs.
  • Commitment to continuous learning, evidence-based practice, and culturally sensitive, gender-neutral, and non-discriminatory care.
