Company Description FutuReady Pediatric Intervention Services is a multidisciplinary private center in Bengaluru specializing in holistic intervention for children with developmental disorders such as autism, ADHD, and intellectual disability. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Occupational Therapist role based in Bengaluru. The Occupational Therapist will assess children with developmental and behavioral challenges, identify their strengths and needs, and develop individualized intervention plans. Daily responsibilities include conducting one-on-one and small-group therapy sessions, using play-based and functional activities to improve sensory processing, fine and gross motor skills, daily living skills, and social participation. The role involves documenting evaluations, progress notes, and treatment outcomes, as well as collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary team and participating in case discussions. The Occupational Therapist will also provide guidance and training to parents and caregivers, contribute to home programs, and engage in regular professional development to stay current with best practices in pediatric intervention.

Qualifications

  • Strong foundation in Occupational Therapy, with experience or interest in pediatric practice and developmental disorders.
  • Knowledge of Rehabilitation principles, including functional goal setting, activity analysis, and interdisciplinary care.
  • Basic understanding of related Medicine and Pediatrics concepts relevant to developmental and behavioral conditions.
  • Effective Communication skills for interacting with children, families, and a multidisciplinary clinical team.
  • Recognized degree or diploma in Occupational Therapy and valid professional registration as applicable.
  • Ability to work empathetically with children and families, demonstrating patience, cultural sensitivity, and respect.
  • Strong documentation, organizational, and time-management skills, with comfort using basic digital tools.
  • Prior experience in pediatric settings, early intervention, or special education centers is an advantage.
