Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Non-Formal Education (NFE) Instructor based in Bavla, Gujarat. The NFE Instructor will focus on designing and delivering quality educational programs for children and adults in the community. Responsibilities include conducting regular classes, preparing lesson plans, developing effective teaching strategies, and assessing students progress. The instructor will also work closely with local community leaders to encourage participation and engagement in the education initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement age-appropriate learning activities aligned with the preschool curriculum.
- Create a welcoming and inclusive classroom environment that fosters curiosity and love for learning.
- Use play-based and participatory teaching methods to support children's development.
- Observe and assess children's progress and maintain accurate records.
- Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding the child's progress and development.
- Encourage positive behaviour and ensure the safety and well-being of all children.
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to enhance the overall learning experience.
- Prepare learning materials, displays, and classroom resources.
- Participate in centre events, meetings, and professional development programs.
- Follow centre policies and maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Early Childhood Education / Nursery Teachers Training (NTT) / Montessori or a related field.
- Proven experience of min. 2 years as a Pre-Primary or Kindergarten teacher.
- Knowledge of early childhood development and educational best policies & practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Creativity, patience, and a caring attitude.
- Ability to manage a classroom with enthusiasm and discipline.
- Elementary computer skills for documentation and communication.
Salary: 12,000.00-16,000.00 per month
