Job Description

Job Title: Network Engineer (Data Routing & Switching)

Key Responsibilities

As a Network DATA Routing & Switching Engineer, you will:

  • Network Design & Implementation: Design and implement end-to-end network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, and Data Center (DC) products.
  • Requirements & Standards: Gather and document business requirements, understand existing network standards, and provide solutions aligned with, or updating, organizational standards.
  • Integration & Coordination: Coordinate with other product teams to ensure seamless integration across all platforms.
  • Governance & Compliance: Adhere to enterprise governance and review processes for project delivery. Follow enterprise ITSM and CMDB processes. Ensure compliance with security regulations and assist in audit processes.
  • Documentation: Update standard documents, including Requirements Analysis (RA), High-Level Design (HLD), and Low-Level Design (LLD) for all network-related solutions.
  • Automation & Monitoring: Develop, monitor, and automate frameworks for all LAN, WAN, and DC products.
  • Incident Response: Respond to network incidents in a timely and effective manner.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of the latest industry trends and best practices to proactively enhance the organization's network.

Mandatory Skills & Experience

Technical Proficiency:

  • Proven experience in network routing and switching, with a strong understanding of fundamentals.
  • Expertise in multiple network vendor technologies and network design principles.
  • Proficiency in configuring, managing, and troubleshooting network devices and infrastructure.
  • SME-level skills in LAN, WAN, and DC technology.
  • Experience in developing, designing, and deploying network LAN, WAN, and DC products.
  • Experience with developing, monitoring, and automating frameworks for network products.

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated ability to gather and document business requirements.
  • Experience in adhering to enterprise governance, review processes, ITSM, and CMDB.
  • Proven ability to update standard network documentation (RA, HLD, LLD).
  • Experience with ensuring compliance with security regulations and assisting in audit processes.
