Job Title: Network Engineer SD-WAN & Fortinet

Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Network Engineer SD-WAN & Firewall to join our Network Operations team in Chennai. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in SD-WAN technologies, routing & switching, and firewall operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct feature testing, performance testing, and validation across SD-WAN platforms
- Support integration between SD-WAN and IT systems
- Assist in customer requirement analysis, solution design, and technical documentation
- Participate in new technology PoCs, automation initiatives, and continuous improvement programs
- Handle escalation support and coordinate with OEMs/vendors
- Perform network monitoring, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis
Required Technical Skills:
- Strong understanding of Routing & Switching
- Good knowledge of MPLS, BGP, and OSPF
- Minimum 23 years hands-on experience in SD-WAN technologies
- Experience with:
- Fortinet Secure SD-WAN
- Cisco SD-WAN (Viptela)
- SilverPeak or Versa (preferred)
- Firewall configuration & operations experience with:
- Fortinet
- Palo Alto
- Checkpoint
- Cisco ASA / Firepower
- Experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools
Preferred Skills (Good to Have):
- Exposure to SSE/SASE solutions such as:
- Netskope
- Zscaler
- Palo Alto Prisma Access
