About The Role
We are seeking an experienced Network and Security Engineer with over three years of professional expertise to join our dynamic IT team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and enhancing our network infrastructure to ensure seamless connectivity, high availability, and robust security measures. This role requires a proactive individual capable of troubleshooting complex network issues, implementing security protocols, and supporting our organization's business continuity objectives. As a vital part of our IT department, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure and reliable network services that support our business operations and growth strategies.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in network and security engineering roles.
- Proficiency in configuring and managing Fortinet Firewalls and Cisco Layer 3 Switches.
- Experience with VPN technologies, including P2P and IPsec VPN tunnels.
- Strong understanding of network security protocols, endpoint security tools, and HA configurations.
- Familiarity with SIEM platforms such as IBM Q-Radar for monitoring and incident response.
- Knowledge of LAN/WLAN and WAN performance optimization and troubleshooting.
- Ability to develop and implement Business Continuity Plans (BCP) and disaster recovery strategies.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Experience with CRM tools like Salesforce or HubSpot is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Configure, deploy, and manage Fortinet Firewalls to enforce security policies and protect organizational assets.
- Manage Cisco Layer 3 Switches to ensure optimal network performance and connectivity.
- Oversee the network infrastructure across multiple data centers, including ILLs, firewalls, and high-availability (HA) setups.
- Design, implement, and maintain secure P2P and IPsec VPN tunnels for remote access and site-to-site connectivity.
- Administer endpoint security solutions such as Netskope, CrowdStrike, and Cososys to safeguard organizational endpoints.
- Support SIEM monitoring activities, particularly using IBM Q-Radar, to detect and respond to security incidents promptly.
- Monitor and optimize LAN/WLAN and WAN performance, ensuring high availability and minimal downtime.
- Contribute to the development and execution of Business Continuity Plans, ensuring network resilience in case of disruptions.
- Diagnose and resolve complex network and security issues efficiently, minimizing impact on business operations.
- Stay updated with emerging security threats and industry best practices, recommending improvements as necessary.
