About The Role

We are seeking a skilled Network Engineer specialized in SD-WAN and Switches to join our dynamic team at TCS in Gurgaon. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background in network infrastructure, including LAN, Wi-Fi, and wide-area network solutions. This role involves managing and optimizing the company's network infrastructure, ensuring high availability, security, and performance across multiple locations. The Network Engineer will be responsible for coordinating with vendors, monitoring network health, troubleshooting issues, and implementing best practices to support the organization's digital operations. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work on cutting-edge networking technologies such as Cisco SDWAN, Aruba Controllers, and Cisco ISE, contributing to the seamless connectivity and digital transformation initiatives of the organization.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate should have a professional degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A minimum of 2-5 years of experience in network engineering, with a focus on SD-WAN, routing, switching, and Wi-Fi management, is essential. Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, Cisco SDWAN, or equivalent are highly desirable. Strong understanding of network security protocols, vendor management, and incident response procedures is required. Candidates should possess excellent problem-solving skills, the ability to work under pressure, and effective communication skills to coordinate with cross-functional teams and vendors.

Responsibilities

Manage and maintain the organization's network infrastructure, including LAN, Wi-Fi, and WAN links, ensuring optimal performance, security, and reliability. Coordinate with ISPs and vendors to troubleshoot and resolve link issues promptly, minimizing downtime and service disruptions. Monitor network performance metrics such as bandwidth utilization, latency, uptime, and availability, providing regular reports and actionable insights for continuous improvement.

Oversee the deployment and management of SD-WAN solutions, ensuring dynamic routing, bandwidth optimization, and redundancy across regional sites. Implement and maintain high-performance private links with failover mechanisms to ensure business continuity. Manage WAN links connecting various branch offices and retail outlets, ensuring secure and stable connectivity with real-time monitoring and troubleshooting capabilities.

Handle full lifecycle management of LAN and Wi-Fi networks, including configuration, monitoring, troubleshooting, and capacity planning. Ensure secure and segregated guest Wi-Fi access, implementing appropriate bandwidth controls and security measures. Participate in audits by collecting relevant data, filling forms, and ensuring compliance with customer requirements. Prepare and submit detailed audit documentation accurately and on time, providing supporting evidence as needed.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement network upgrades, patches, and configuration changes. Proactively identify capacity trends and potential issues, developing strategies to mitigate risks and enhance network performance. Maintain comprehensive documentation of network configurations, procedures, and audit records to ensure transparency and compliance.
