Job Role: Network Engineer(CCNA/CCNP)

Note From the hiring manager : High-end Cisco Engineer that has a lot of experience with LAN/WAN and WiFi networks. The person needs to have good reasoning and troubleshooting skills and experience with Wireless controller technology and access points. The person should also have good experience with Cisco Prime / DNA and working with Internet Service Providers.

Essential Functions

Design, develop, deploy, and maintain cloud-based solutions to meet business requirements. Integrate new solutions with existing cloud resources or on-premise infrastructure and evaluate impact to efficiently service changing business needs.

Install, configure, test and maintain Windows Server operating systems, application software, and system management tools in a hosted Azure cloud environment. Design, install, configure, and proactively manage hosted and on-premise network devices such as load balancers, firewalls (Cisco & Fortinet), switches, access points, etc. Provide after-hours support as required for system maintenance, changes, updates, etc.

Write and maintain PowerShell scripts to increase system efficiency and lower the human intervention time on any tasks.

Develop and maintain technical documentation on systems configuration and usage. Responsible for providing statistical reports on systems availability and performance.

Lead and/or assist with product/service investigation, evaluation, recommendation, and negotiations.

Cross train team members on existing and new technologies as the opportunities arise.

knowledge of endpoint device configuration management / MDM/Intune & product O&M /lifecycle management.

CCNA or related network certification preferred. Azure Certified Solutions Architect Professional preferred. Experience working with Linux platforms preferred.

Minimum 5 years hands-on experience in the implementation and administration of complex, multi-location, multi-vendor, converged voice/data networks. Minimum 3 years proven experience in cloud infrastructure architecture and design of complex distributed systems environments. Minimum 3 years Azure, VMWare and/or Hyper-V Virtualization administration experience.

Advanced knowledge of Microsoft hosted services such as Office 365 and Azure cloud infrastructure services. Experience designing, managing, and migrating cloud infrastructure environments, such as Azure, DevOps, AWS, Rackspace, etc. Experience working with virtualization platforms such as VMWare and Hyper-V. Advanced knowledge of storage architectures, including peripheral interfaces (SCSI, RAID, Ethernet) and multi-processor designs (SMP).

Demonstrated proficiency in networkadministration in large datacenter environment DNS/DHCP, Load Balancing (F5 Networks, AWS ELB), Firewalls (Cisco, Fortinet, IDS/IPS, IPSEC VPN). Excellent network latency analysis, performance monitoring, and troubleshooting skills.
