GSPANN is hiring a Network Engineer to manage enterprise networking infrastructure and cloud connectivity across office locations and Google Cloud Platform environments. The role focuses on Akamai CDN management, Fortinet FortiGate security, Extreme Networks switching, and hybrid network operations.
Role and Responsibilities
- Allocate and manage network addressing for Google Cloud Platform (GCP) resources.
- Configure and maintain network switching infrastructure across all office locations.
- Monitor enterprise network environments using SolarWinds Virtualization Manager (VM) and related monitoring tools.
- Manage Microsoft Network Policy Server (NPS) configurations and update policies when required.
- Configure and maintain routing between Internet Service Providers (ISPs), infrastructure routers, and office sites.
- Manage inter-office network connectivity between corporate locations and GCP environments.
- Support and maintain both physical and virtual networking infrastructure across enterprise environments.
- Configure and operate enterprise networking platforms, including Extreme Networks switches, Aruba Wireless networks, Fortinet FortiGate firewalls, Software-Defined Wide Area Network (SD-WAN), and GCP networking services.
- Manage Akamai Content Delivery Network (CDN) configurations and network traffic layering to optimize performance.
- Implement Media Access Control (MAC) address authentication using Microsoft Network Policy Server (NPS).
- Work in a rotational shift schedule to support global network operations.
Skills And Experience
- Demonstrate hands-on experience managing Akamai CDN, including edge configurations, performance optimization, and property updates.
- Configure, operate, and troubleshoot Extreme Networks switches across L2 and L3 network environments.
- Implement and manage Fortinet FortiGate firewalls, including firewall policies, Virtual Private Networks (VPNs), Software-Defined Wide Area Networks (SD-WAN), and security configurations.
- Apply strong knowledge of enterprise firewall architecture, rule management, security policies, and network traffic analysis.
- Administer Microsoft Network Policy Server (NPS) for authentication, authorization, and network access control.
- Demonstrate working knowledge of CDN concepts and traffic acceleration strategies.
- Configure and optimize Aruba Wireless networking, including Service Set Identifiers (SSIDs), authentication mechanisms, and Radio Frequency (RF) performance tuning.
