Job Description

LAN Operations

Design, configure, and maintain LAN infrastructure including switches, routers, access points, and structured cabling.
Manage VLANs, port configurations, and network segmentation to enhance performance and security.
Monitor and optimize LAN performance across office and data center environments.
Support wired and wireless connectivity for end users and connected devices.

WAN Operations

Configure and manage WAN links such as MPLS, leased lines, VPNs, and SD-WAN solutions.
Ensure reliable connectivity between branch offices, data centres, and cloud environments.
Coordinate with ISPs and vendors for link provisioning, troubleshooting, and upgrades.
Monitor WAN performance and implement QoS policies where required.

C. SD-WAN Management

Design, implement, and manage SD-WAN deployments across multiple sites.
Conduct site readiness assessments and support SD-WAN rollout activities.
Configure and maintain SD-WAN edge devices and centralized orchestrators.
Monitor network traffic and optimize routing and failover policies.

D. Network Security & Governance

Implement network security best practices including access controls and firewall rule support.
Ensure compliance with organizational security and governance standards.
Support disaster recovery planning and network resilience initiatives.

E. Network Operations & Support

Perform network troubleshooting and root cause analysis for incidents and outages.
Maintain accurate network documentation, diagrams, and asset inventories.
Participate in network upgrades, migrations, change management, and incident response processes.
Provide technical support and knowledge transfer to internal teams.

Educational Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or a related discipline.

Experience & Technical Requirements

Proven experience in managing enterprise LAN, WAN, and SD-WAN environments.
Strong understanding of routing, switching, network segmentation, and performance optimization.
Experience working with vendors, ISPs, and managed service providers.
