MYP Theatre Facilitator

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Theatre Facilitator specializing in the MYP (Middle Years Programme) and DP (Diploma Programme). The Theatre Facilitator will be responsible for designing, planning, and delivering engaging theatre lessons in alignment with IB guidelines. The role involves guiding students in developing their performance and creative skills, organizing theatrical productions, and fostering self-expression and collaboration amongst students. The facilitator will also contribute to the broader school community by participating in collaborative activities, sharing expertise with colleagues, and supporting the holistic development of learners.

• Expertise in Theatre Arts, including acting, directing, scriptwriting, and stage management
• Proficiency in facilitating creative learning processes and fostering artistic expression
• Understanding of IB curriculum (MYP and DP) and a strong grasp of inquiry-based and student-centered teaching methodologies
• Experience in event planning and coordinating theater productions
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a diverse educational community
• Adaptability, creativity, and passion for working with students to develop their skills and confidence
• Degree in Theatre, Drama, Performing Arts, or a related field; relevant teaching certification or training is an advantage
• Experience in teaching theatre to middle and high school students is highly preferred
