Job Roles and Key Responsibilities:
Technical Expertise & Operations:
- Perform Fault and Configuration Management activities to directly serve customers or through customer interfaces, following defined procedures.
- Exhibit excellent knowledge and understanding of telecom networks and elements.
- Demonstrate detailed understanding of transmission topology, including Microwave, Fiber, and IPRAN technology.
- Possess good exposure and hands-on experience with Marconi, Fujitsu, Alcatel, Philips muxes, Nokia, and Ciena DWDMs, coupled with a detailed analytical understanding of Network Management Systems (NMS).
- Apply expert knowledge of OTN / Ethernet and IP technology used in the Transmission Domain.
- Conduct troubleshooting and configuration activities, including remote delivery and interaction with field teams.
- Possess a good understanding and troubleshooting exposure of TXN interfaces of Mobile Networks (IuB/IuCs, IuPS, GB, Abis, Ater) in both TDM and Packet Environments.
- Have hands-on experience on IPRAN technology and stitched networks.
- Perform Change activities as requested by the customer, ensuring adherence to procedures.
- Understand customer requirements and act accordingly in the shortest possible time.
Coordination & Collaboration:
- Interact effectively with other cross-functional domains such as Radio, Core, and IP teams.
- Coordinate with field teams until the successful closure of faults.
- Coordinate with 3rd party fiber providers, infrastructure providers, and field teams to clear alarms.
- Demonstrate the ability to resolve issues remotely and guide on-ground teams effectively.
Documentation & Process:
- Possess a good understanding and knowledge of the trouble ticket lifecycle and ensure successful closure of tickets to achieve SLAs.
- Maintain good Documentation Skills, able to create, review, and update technical data in databases.

Education and Experience:
- Education: B.E. / B.Tech. from any reputed university.
- Experience: 4-8 years of experience in a relevant field, specifically as an L2 Expert.
