Linux & Virtualization Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Linux & Virtualization Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in Linux operating systems, VMware technologies, and networking protocols, coupled with excellent analytical and troubleshooting abilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Product deployment and management will be executed in a Linux environment, leveraging virtualization technologies like VMware.
• Advanced troubleshooting and support will be provided for Linux and VMware vSphere environments.
• Infrastructure design, implementation, and maintenance will be contributed to, ensuring robustness and scalability.
• Collaboration with cross-functional teams will be crucial to ensure seamless product integration and operation.

Technical Skill Requirements

• Strong knowledge of Linux OS, including deployment and administration, is essential.
• Proficiency with VMware products (e.g., vSphere, vCenter) is required.
• Solid understanding of TCP/IP, UDP, and SNMP protocols, and general networking concepts, is mandatory.
• Proven experience in deploying products in Linux environments with virtualization is a must.
• RHCSA or RHCE certification is mandatory.
• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills in Linux and VMware vSphere are required.
• Familiarity with various hardware, including EMC VNX, Unity Storage, HP blade servers (e.g., BL460c), HP C7000 enclosure, Brocade SAN switches, VC flex, and HP switches (e.g., HPE 5510/HPE 6127 XLG), is essential.
• Experience with OpenStack is required.
