Microsoft Dynamics NAV & Business Central (BC) Functional Consultant

• Analyze business processes and map them to NAV 2009 functionality.

• Provide functional support for NAV 2009, including troubleshooting and process optimization.

• Assist in data migration and integration with third-party applications.

• Train end users and create documentation for business processes.

• Support finance, supply chain and other core NAV modules.

Business Central Responsibilities:

• Work with Web Client and Role Tailored client features for user accessibility.

• Define workflows, user roles, and permissions within BC.

• Conduct functional testing and user acceptance testing (UAT).

• Provide training and ongoing support to users. 

Skills & Qualifications:

• Minimum 5+ years of experience working as a Functional Consultant in Microsoft Dynamics NAV (2009 & BC).

• Strong understanding of finance, supply chain, inventory, contracts and sales modules in NAV.

• Hands-on experience with business process mapping and requirement gathering. • Familiarity with RTC (NAV 2009), Web Client (BC), and other NAV interfaces.

• Experience with data migration, system upgrades, and NAV integrations.

• Ability to create functional documentation and user manuals.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and business acumen.

• Strong communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams. 

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is a plus.

• Knowledge of Jet Reports, or other reporting tools.

• Microsoft Dynamics NAV certification is an advantage.

• Exposure to AL programming (for potential migration to Business Central).
